More and more often, we notice guests prefer not to choose for themselves — instead, they want us to decide. The concept of omakase originates from Japan and literally means “I leave it up to you.” The idea is that diners fully trust the chef to create a personalized menu using seasonal and fresh ingredients. But you don’t have to travel far — it's a bit like the fun of a "mystery bag" at local fairs, where you never quite know what surprise you’ll get!
That’s exactly the twist we’re bringing to this year’s 5th Kürtőskalács Spring Festival — every Vitéz Kürtős stand will feature a special “Surprise Me” product, created exclusively for the event by our talented team. Our true fans know: when they leave the choice to us, we never let them down. Now, we’re weaving that same exciting experience into the heart of the festival!
The 5th Kürtőskalács Spring festival will showcase the three main product families of Vitéz Kürtős:
- Traditional kürtőskalács in classic and unique flavors (also available in vegan and gluten-free versions)
- KÜRTŐSBON creations – our famous filled kürtőskalács rolls
- Kürtős Fondue – classic and bold new flavors with a variety of delicious dips

KÜRTŐSBON is special not only because of its taste, but also because every single piece has had a unique serial number since the beginning — and we recently passed the 50,000th sold piece!
It’s definitely worth trying this hit product at the Vigalom, because every 50th KÜRTŐSBON customer will receive a gift!
You’ll find this delicious treat at two locations during the event: inside the Édes Mackó kürtőskalács dessert shop and at a dedicated stand as well.

At the 4th Kürtőskalács Vigalom, family activities will be in focus: storytellers, puppet plays, creative workshops, face painting, educational programs about animals and a diverse range of musical performances will provide entertainment for the fans of chimney cake.

Of course, lovers of classic flavors won’t be disappointed either — the timeless vanilla, cinnamon, and walnut kürtőskalács will all be there! And for those with a more adventurous sweet tooth, we’ll have dessert specialties from our very own Édes Mackó kürtőskalács-pastry shop.
Guests can also choose from a range of Flavor Bombs, made entirely with vegan ingredients — and yes, we’ll also have kürtőskalács that’s 100% gluten-, dairy-, and egg-free.
