Once a month, it’s time for our Vegan Kürtőskalács Days, where we go all plant-based!Every kürtőskalács we serve is dairy- and egg-free – but the flavor stays 100% satisfying.(Please note: these are not gluten-free products, only vegan.)

We always think of those with food sensitivities – or anyone who simply chooses a more conscious lifestyle.
That’s why we’re bringing back our gluten-, dairy-, and egg-free kürtőskalács options for three special days at Édes Mackó.

5th KÜRTŐSKALÁCS VIGALOM – May 16–17–18
We’re celebrating the spring edition of our kürtőskalács festival for the 5th time in the beautiful surroundings of the Holnemvolt Castle in the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden.
This special event marks the 7th birthday of the Édes Mackó Kürtőskalács Confectionery and the 16th anniversary of the Vitéz Kürtős Kiosk inside the Zoo!
In addition to delicious kürtőskalács, visitors can enjoy fun-filled family and kids’ activities, animal programs, craft workshops, quiz games, photo corners, a giant mill game, and live concerts.

This spring, we are once again hosting a gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free kürtőskalács weekend, where we warmly welcome everyone with gluten, dairy, or egg intolerance to enjoy a delicious kürtőskalács experience!

Please note that while our "free" kürtőskalács is made with great care using separate equipment and handled by dedicated staff, we cannot prepare it in a completely separate kitchen. Despite our best efforts, trace amounts of gluten may be present, as our traditional kürtőskalács is made in the same space.
