Vitéz Kürtős Team

Team Spirit and Dedication

Sport and teamwork - to help spread the Vitéz Kürtős name, our colleagues have taken part in numerous sporting challenges and events over the years.

The Vitéz Kürtős Team was formed in 2011, when the founders, Bálint Gáspár and Gyula F. Bálint, signed up for the Saharun Adventure, an off-road charity adventure tour across Africa. Their goal has been, ever since, to promote sport and charity, and to spread the word about chimney cake and Transylvanian cuisine around the world through travel and sporting challenges.

  • Our team cycled the El Camino route in 2012, and rode scooters around the island of Corsica in 2013. Our biggest adventure came in 2014, when we kayaked the entire length of the Danube, Europe's second-longest river, from the Black Forest all the way to the Black Sea. Our adventures have inspired numerous blog posts, talks, and even books.
  • Alongside the 'adventurers,' the Vitéz Kürtős Team's preparation also relies heavily on Vitéz Kürtős's own employees: the guys and girls who work with us at our chimney-cake stores and other locations. Some of our team members take an active part in the adventure itself, while others support our goals from behind the scenes - without them, we certainly wouldn't have achieved this much success or gathered this many memories.
