At the start of the year we are already looking forward to May, when children and adults can celebrate this heavenly hungarikum together. Months in advance, we are thinking about novelties, and this time, we’ve chosen the variability of Kürtősbon to be in focus, since it’s been the most popular product in recent times. We’ve experimented with and tested new flavours eagerly already, so at the Vigalom we’re bringing you the Double Raspberry KÜRTŐSBON, which has raspberry inside and out, and the walnut and poppy seed BEJGLIBONS as our new specialities.
Naturally, the dough of all of our products is original chimney cake baked on charcoal, since #bakedoncharcoalisthebest, which can be spiced up in many ways.
Since May is the month of love, we are enthusiastic to use one of our favourite ingredients: raspberry. The chimney cake booths in the zoo will become a real raspberry heaven; KÜRTŐSBON and Édes Mackó’s special chimney cake desserts will have raspberry in them as well.
Moreover, customers will be able to choose from various TASTE BOMBS (Ízbombák), that are made of vegan ingredients. We will also have gluten-, milk- and egg-free chimney cake, and, of course, the original chimney cake flavours will be available as well.
Actually, at the popular Do it yourself! (Csináld magad!) chimney cake booth, anyone with a little sense of adventure can bake their own chimney cake and experience how real chimney cake is made!
At the 4th Kürtőskalács Vigalom, family activities will be in focus: storytellers, puppet plays, creative workshops, face painting, educational programs about animals and a diverse range of musical performances will provide entertainment for the fans of chimney cake.
The event can be accessed with a regular zoo ticket, a yearly ticket or a 4 season ticket. If you come specifically for the Vigalom, we suggest you enter the zoo through the gate next to the Carousel (Körhinta)!
